Located along Route 6 or what the locals refer to as "Old Highway 6" is a breath taking view of the valley. Come and enjoy nature at it's finest.
Members of the Wauneta Jaycees first established this stopping area along the highway north of town where a person could pull off safely to enjoy the view. The site was termed the "Little Grand Canyon". It remained open until about the early 1970's when problems with vandalism at the site prompted its closing. Thanks to the efforts of local Scout, Bobby Vette, the scenic site was re-established in 1996. Vette completed the project as part of his Eagle Scout requirements.
